Gantumoote: Love and strugle

Good evening everyone. So, in this time, in here i will give my opinion/my critics about one movie, entitled “Gantumoote”. So, this movie is so good, the storyline has moral value. Actually, this movie showing about school love story, but in another way, not just like movie in general, this movie made me more aware with some issue inside them.

So, this movie have many important issue, from all of that, I focus with 2 important issue, first is talking about sexual harassment, this issue was very seen at the beginning of this movie, the scene inside movie theater, what happen with the main actress after she unconscious accepted do relation with the stranger is few from many indicators about sexual harassment. Second issue is about man superriority, man can do anything for what they want, girl can’t reject what man want, this is happen inside the movie. That issue is happen too at our life, in our society, every day we see something happen with girl around us, someone touch them without reason, do catcalling and another bad habits.

Now, we will explain about two main characters inside this story. First, we will meet with Meera [Teju Belawadi], in this movie she was described as a smart girl, she got perfect score at her school three times. She is beautiful girl and this is making some boys trying to get her, until she unconscious accepted do a relation with the stranger. 

From that, she got sexual harassment, that is touched without permission. After she got new relation with the main actor “Madhu”, the stranger call her with initial “dagar” or bitch. This is make her annoyed. She struggling to show if she more better than the stranger with her education and show to all people if women have same position like man. Her struggling is related with what women be fought for now.

Next, we meet with Madhu [Niscicth Korodi], a man who have special relation with Meera, Madhu is energic man, In my perspective, he is like a youngman in general. He do some activity like going out with his friend, eat together, do something new because he want to know that activity, and sometime can be opportunists. for me, he is a best friend, he know how to make his friend happy, he with them in every moment, and try to be good for everyone. This is like in real life, that people try to be good person for everyone, although he had something bad.

This movie absolutely remind us about the simple problem can become serious issue, like from catcalling can become sexual harassment, or like superriotity at community, can become superiority at all people. We need to be more care with that, with more care with the problem or the issue, we can stop the influence of that at real life. What movie show to us, is a drawing of our society.

  We will discuss again about important thing, that will be important when you want to take decision or do something, that is the function of Critical Thinking. For to do critical thinking we need to know some factors, begin from the cause and effect, supporting reason, avoid egoism, until check your news, is there something weird thing, that can make news become ridiculous.
